I was wondering how many people use the buddy and ingore lists. Also who is on their lists. I use to use the buddy list but i don't even know who i have on it anymore. As for the ignore list, i haven't had anyone on that ever. I know i am on at least a couple ignore lists after that april update thread....

The LFS World buddy list is useful, I've added quite a few racers to it but I don't check LFS World that often (mainly because I don't get time to go online often). Seeing as that option is isn't the poll, I've taken the liberty of adding it for you.

I don't think we really need a discussion about the forum ignore list, that can't go anywhere but downhill. I've removed the bit about the ignore list from the poll.

Is there an ignore list on LFS World? I think he´s talking about ignore/budddy lists on this forum.

I use it all the time.

Every time I had a good race with someone who isnt in the list yet I go to LFSW and add him.

When I want to race, I first go to LFSW and look who is online and most of the time I find a server where at least 3 people on my list are driving.

Its pretty full now, though.

its an essential part of lfsw because of the live alert system!
in 90% of all cases when I start LFS, I have seen some buddy online and joined only because of the LA notification.

I rarely even touch LFSW. I "might" login once every 6 months, but the rest of the time the only contact I've got with LFSW is my PB's etc. Yeah, I know I'm weird :P

The only time I use it is to compare PBs with others, though that gets too depressing

nah - i use Mates@Track, heartily recommend it, i would show you a screenshot of the 50 people on the list, but not only did an unstable overclock make it crash and loose em all, but also 5 of them are in a group called "People I Don't Like"

I use it all the time too...really quick way to see who is online that I want to see/race with, useful for comparing my stats and theirs...only thing I would love to see added to it is a quick message system (sort of msn/icq) that was dedicated only to LFS pals

I used to have a couple of people on my list, but removed them when I discovered that we were never online at the same time anyway (and one of them is only ever on a C&R server).

But I can understand that it would be useful in a team or if you want to race with people you know.

Muroc has a buddy list on our website and I use it all the time, can even autojoin from the website =)
