is there some sort of system for reporting other drivers who are being abusive and generally behaving like total bellends?

i was on the STCC new and bronze server tonight, it was by far the worst session i've had so far.

worst culprit usernames:

***names removed - Gunn

the latter was extremely twattish and deliberately took me out several times.

if you see these fools, log onto another server because it won't be fun anymore - they have no idea what clean racing is illepall

You really shouldn't post the names of wreckers I'd strongly suggest editing the first post, it's only degenerative pointless and gives them the attention they love.

Naming and shaming isn't appreciated here, so please remove those names.
Search for the "wrecker barricade", you need a replay to report wreckers.

if they wreck and most of the people think they wreck, they will be kicked or banned.

As stated above, you can use the wrecker barricade to report deliberate wrecking but make sure you have a replay of the incidents as proof.

Additionally, you can report bad behaviour on STCC servers to Becky Rose or SamH at the STCC reporting site.

Please don't post the names of possible wreckers publicly.

No replay evidence = no action.

STCC/UKCT servers don't run kick/ban votes, to prevent it from being abused, and becuase theres a working reporting system with people who can act to said incidents at many points in the day.

Not every server run's wrecker barricade, so warning people can't really be such a bad thing? I thought the idea of having an S2 licence was to eliminate the wreckers and anonymous users, If the user names are kept secret doesnt it defeat the point (mostly) of having an S2 licence?

I try and keep my name as clean as possible and race as clean as I can, and try and not to upset people. My brother caused alot of problems for me and I was 'named and shamed' yet the post still sits active and open for everyone to read? illepall

We discourage posting people's names because quite often they are wrongly accused either out of spite or misunderstanding. The Wrecker Barricade at least provides a fair process by which the incident can be judged using proof and not just relying on someone's opinion.

If you allow your brother or anyone else to use your account online then you are ultimately responsible for the actions of that person. If your name appears in a post where you are being accused then we would prefer to remove it regardless of whether or not you are innocent. It isn't a selective policy.

I was on the same server last night for a while, some very rough tactics being used, and some cheating short-cuts. No names here.

Just pointing out we've the 8 billionth thread this week about the action of somebody on the server, and that there is a reporting system built in. I wish it could be better integrated into LFS itself rather than a web page but atm it is not possible.

EDIT: Wish is too stronger word, actually I dont much care - I gave up server admin duties because every time I did something admin-like I got flamed. There are server admins though, some of them very dedicated, but they can only act when given the information they need to act.

I've had several reports in the last few days. I've been discussing them with other admins and actioning where necessary. I sometimes send Becky "FYI" messages, but mostly I just leave notes on individuals' licences in the system, where Becky can read them if she needs to.

Okay, I was just curious whether it worked or not, because of Becky's "no reports either"
