Loss of ffb after impact (DFP)
Hi there,

I searched the forum for this particular problem, but I couldn't find anything.

I just noticed that, after an impact (straight on into a tire barrier), my ffb was suddenly much lower than before the impact. According to F10 suspension was still in perfect condition, but ffb was probably half as strong as before. So increasing it via "." helped somewhat.

I'm using a DFP, but thinking about it, I seem to remember that I sometimes had the same problem with my Formula Force GP.

Anybody having the same problems and maybe a fix?

Thx,

Linsen
The F10 menu doesn't show all damage. What happened is that your front wheels were pushed back (closer to you), which caused the caster to be severely reduced, or even made negative. You get the same effect by using a caster close to 0° in the setup
I second AndroidXP's reason. Check the Shift-L screen and look at your Caster and Inclination before and after a crash.
So that's why! I never knew that. Thx for the info
