Seems the first time I posted about this it disappeared without warning or explanation - or, for that matter, redirection to the so-called third post which doesn't actually seem to exist, not in its own thread or the OT section anyway I'm not a mindreader, so does anyone have a link to the existing post or a reason why it's not in the OT section (which is where you'd expect it to be, as it's OT), or not in existence at all?

edit: ok, found someone's post about it in a general nK tracks thread in the General Racing Talk section. Tiny suggestion to nobody in particular: it might be worth a few lines of text next time a new thread needs to be deleted because someone's already mentioned its content in another thread in the wrong section! I thought the OT section would be where you talk about other games. Has been in the past

A clearer policy would probably make sense & reduce confusion then. I always assumed "General Racing" meant real-life racing and not anything to do with either real racing or non-LFS racing games. Maybe "General Racing" should be re-titled "General RL Racing"

I like the way the LFS forum isn't overly admined and doesn't get anal about what sections threads should be in like others.

Whats the point in adding more content when the game is barely playable for most people? (due to all the bugs, not the difficulty)

The MP/fps problems "should" be fixed in the upcoming 1.03 (or 0.103?) patch. I certainly hope so. It's taken nearly a year to get the online to a playable level which is simply ridiculous.

I haven't had that many troubles online to be honest - but then again, noone's online when Australians are awake so I haven't had that much online experience...

no probs here too, one or two bugs but still very playable on my mediocre machine, and a great 'feel' if you were brought up on GPL like me.

A hillclimb is just the event for nKP, one car at a time, no fps problems, no lag, perfect!

That actually looks like being fun. If I could only test if it really is before buying something that might not suit me after all

Yup, that's him alright. Not as good looking as Scawen is he, and I can't imagine him giving kitchen updates or pictures of his arm down holes fixing his plumbing!

He looks a bit like Mike Gascoyne, except Mike Gascoyne has more of the mysterious facial attribute that makes you want to punch someone.
