This started to be apparent mainly on the stunt servers with layouts that only allow one car to start. As long as another car is in the starting area, nobody else can join, which is fine by itself.
But
To leave the game, restart, vote to kick someone, or do anything else you have to be in the options menu, respectively on the track. If someone blocks the start, you cannot join the track. And you also cannot access the options menu, because that doesn't work from the garage.
Basically if you are in the garage and someone blocks the start, you cannot leave the game or do anything else. You actually have to manually kill LFS, either with the task manager or Alt+F4 or Shift+F4 and then closing the window.
"Console" commands don't work. I've tried "disconnect", "quit" and "exit" and all give me the message that "I don't have admin rights".
I realise that this isn't something affecting many players, but it's a flaw nontheless and needs to be mentioned.
But
- Sometimes retards deliberately block the start (or some afk players) so others can't join. Not a big deal, they can be kicked.
- When things are a little laggy, and many players waiting in the garage to come in, they spawn into each other, causing a big "crash" where the cars get accellerated up to 400km/h
