I have tried to use Multiplayer the same as i do every other time and it will find servers on the master server but finds no reply from basically all of them

Yeah i'm having problems to cant connect at all really frustrating please there has to be an issue here somwhere please HELP!

Im running Patch V but im still having problems :S

yeah im running all upto date and everything was fine yesterday done nouwt but restart my pc this evening and suddenly cant connect at all a whole evenings racing gone bahahah bahahah, It is really annoying only just paid me £24 for the full version to race online and now i can't :-(

Ok, lets actually work backwards, as many people aren't having problems.

If you goto Start > Run, type "cmd", click ok and do the following, what happens?

This command should return an IP address (currently it should resolve to 213.40.196.103).


You should get replies.

If you don't, try a traceroute
If any of these fail, or resolve to an incorrect address, then you have a problem on your network, or on your ISPs network.

Tryed the above returns a ip address fine as 213.40.196.103

Meh, not necessarily. Are you using the latest patch (V)? Due to changes in how the liveforspeed network is run, its only possible to connect using that patch.

I don't know what date / time scawen was going to turn off the "old" masterserver, I'm afraid.

There seems to be a growing group of racers now that are having this same issue - seemingly unrelated to any settings changes.

If the ISP's come back to the racers saying theres nothing wrong at their end..... whats gonna happen?

Its not as if its constistant - there are more and more each day. Im porbably making it sound more than it is - but its not just people from the UK either.

The problem is that the internet is a bunch of networks all connected together. Anything could be happening between your end and the masterserver, which is potentially pretty tricky to debug

Not sure what all the above means but its now my 2nd night of getting no reply from master server, there is a couple of time outs on here does this mean anything? Thanks in advance for any help provided. Lee.

does anyone have any ideas on this as now been two consecutive evenings with no gaming. More thatn just quite annoying I bought the game for the online rivalry and i cant race.

To put in lamens terms everything working turn off pc go to bed get up go to work return home turn on pc cannot connect to master server!

I think its a conspiracy and people just dont like me beating them! if its the case then let me know so at least I can understand why I ca't online race anymore.


If not then please help cos otherwise I payed £24 for the best game in the worlr/Worst game in the world.

Have you tried using Join2LFS and LFSWorld to search for servers and connect using that? Seems a bit odd that you can trace back to the master server and get a decent ping from it yet the server list gives you no replies.
