STCC servers - How do they work?
Hi I'm a noob so forgive me if this is a very noobish question.

I noticed that there are STCC servers where you can progress through various stages - i like the idea of this but how do i know if i am attaining driving points? Do i need to register with them or can i simply keep playing on their servers and place well to up my skill and unlock better cars?

Plus how do i get one of those bars which displays what (crappy) level i am at?

Thanks in advance for the help

Hello.

You don't need to register to progress. Once you log on the first time the system automatically creates an account for you and begins logging your progress.
From there on just drive well, try to stay clean and well mannered and enjoy the racing.

You can view your license progress and get your own stcc-userbar by entering your LFSW-username here. Your personalized userbar will be visible to the lower right after entering your username. The address should read http://stccu.ukct.net/*YOUR LFSW Name HERE*.gif - e.g. mine is http://stccu.ukct.net/vain.gif.

Thanks very much Vain & FOGlegsy

The userbar thingy has been incorporated into the forum, so you can use the BBcode [stcc]racername[/stcc]

And [ stcc ]/mini/racername[ /stcc ] for the more stylish 'mini' that looks like a Cadbury's Cream Egg when you go gold .
Thanks Becky and Bean0 for the tips. Is there a reason why when i use the BB code i get 'League Spectator' bar instead of 'Copper License Holder'? No big deal, but having a bar which says i'm a league spectator, in my book, is a little less impressive than being a copper license holder

You'll need to use an under_score in place of the space in your name, for it to work properly. Here's the code you should use:-

[stcc]mini/Kinetic_Frenzy[/stcc]
Cheers Sam
