This is really weird but I started getting the same error recently too, although only once after boot up.. Something to do with my sound because I lost that after the error. Using a PCI soundcard now and problem seems to have gone away.
well someone told me to update my ACPI Drivers or something?
i havent got a clue what they are

This would be the ACPI driver, multiprocessor would be for dual core cpus.

ahhh i got ACPI i'l update my drivers and hope it works
If its happening every hour, exactly, then look at all of your programs which update automatically. Windows, any anti-virus, etc. Turn off all auto-updates and see if the problem goes away. If it does, turn 'em on one at a time until you get the error.
well its not every hour, it happens just time and time again i have no idea what it is
its worse when i'm playing LFS because it minimizes my game
svchost acts like a wrapper for a number of services, so you should try to track it down to the specific service that needs to close.
Process Explorer by Sysinternals (a spiced up Task Manager) in its latest versions shows, for every svchost.exe, the services that are connected to a specific svchost.exe process (just hover the mouse over the various svchost.exe process names). A comparison between the various svchosts before and after the process has crashed to see what's missing could help you track down the specific service that is causing trouble,
Process Explorer could also help tracking an eventual fake svchost.exe, which in this case won't be signed by Microsoft, (you can verify digitally signed executables). In this case I would take a thorough look at all the processes running on your computer, look at the Event Viewer very closely (and rely upon eventid.net to have a better explanation of errors), check for unneeded software, run an antivirus, check digital signatures, run a few antirootkits (but you must understand how they work and what they tell), starting from Gmer.
You can start getting Process Explorer at www.sysinternals.com.

The Microsoft Eula is less restrictive than the Sysinternals one, and it appears only one time (per program), exactly as it happened before. By the way the previous versions of Process Explorer DO NOT show the services by svchost.
this seems to catch my eye but i cant get any info about it, i'v hovered my mouse over it and theres nothing :S

I had a similar thing appear on my pc where a svchost.exe process was taking up alot of memory but in my case alot of cpu too. After alot of research I found it to be my antivirus program. It was the file monitoring feature on it i believe. It caused alot of slowdown and the occasional error like you have had. Aslo I had experienced alot of minimizing too.

I got round it by downgrading to an earlier release and reporting the problem to them. They added acouple of months onto my subscription too which was a bonus

Hope thats any kind of help for ya.
what kind of anti virus did do u use?
i'm got avast and it when i get the error it always lags up my computer and minimizes my LFS
any chance it could be Avast?
I use bullguard anti virus. But if your AV has real time file monitoring I would reccomend you close the AV completely and its processes. Then look on your process list and see if its still there. Also you could try running a game if its disabled to find out too.

If you dont get the problems or minimizing its problem solved
If you`re using XP, open the command prompt and type -

tasklist /svc

If you notice any particular PID`s in the task manager that stick out while the problem occurs, then check them against this output and it should show you some more info.

Also take a look through the Event Viewer in "Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Event Viewer" and see if there`s anything obvious showing up under the "System" or "Application" sections.
ok it is not my antivirus the svchost.exe was still there when i closed it, i'l have a look in the tasklist on command prompt

Quote from unseen :If you`re using XP, open the command prompt and type -

tasklist /svc

it didnt work

My event log i got this error quite a few times and it has the same offset value as my error:

Faulting application svchost.exe, version 5.1.2600.2180, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x00093b0b.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
You have several instances of svchost.exe, each one bound to one or more Windows services. If an svchost instance crashes and then restarts, the PID (Process ID) will be different. You have to identify the correct svchost to do that. Either you compare the output of tasklist /svc before and after the crash or you do that with a tool like Process Explorer, but not Task Manager. I'd use Process Explorer instead of tasklist because there are much more information available there to understand what's going on.
