I am just curious what presets are.

Is it actually new vehicles added to the game or just different performance put into existing LFS vehicles?

How do you choose between the normal LFS vehicles and the preset ones?

if you are referring to LFSTweak, yes they are different values that change the aspect of the LFS cars; however this can only be used offline (or on specified online servers in which everyone must have the same preset)
