Got a new music player phone that uses m4a.
All my tunes in mp3 or wma format.
The Nokia software 'music manager' that is supplied keeps crashing during conversion.
Tried downloading half a dozen converter's , but none can do all my files in one go and keep the tags
Any suggestions?

I think this will do what you want it todo!

Once you've opened it, add your music files, click the green 'Start encoding process' arrow and you'll be able to select how you wish to convert them.

You'll obviously want FAAC MP4/AAC Encoder

It doesnt support .wma converting off the bat you need to get another plugin for that details are as follows.

Although ive heard it wont convert .WMA's that are protected but i cant be too sure about that!

Burn them to a CD?

Don't waste the media, burn to an image instead (then mount and rip).
