Anyone seen it?.

I went with my GF on Saturday night to see it, and was a bit disapointed.

I am a HUGE Shaun of the dead fan, and think Simon Pegg and Nick Frost are top, but I can't help but think this was a "lazy" follow up to Shaun of the dead.

Yes, it was funny, but it had the same jokes, same over the top gore (church steeple into someones head/neck), and same "latent homo-sexual tension" between Pegg and Frost.

Think it was a victim of it's own hype, worth seeing I guess, if only for the shootout at the end.

I actually thought it was as good as hyped! maybe I got caught up in a great crowd in the cinema, not heard so much laughing out loud in a LONG time.

I didn't know anything about it, watched it last night and thought it was great. You see, you got disappointed through hype created by the media. If you ignore the media and go in with no expectations, things are a lot more fun.

The scene where the old woman gets drop kicked in the face really killed us all in the cinema. OTT fun can be great, a more extreme example would be Top Secret. Funny as hell.

Top Secret is a classic!!!
