i recently got a joystick, i took the springs out of it so it would stay in place... now in lfs if i put it in any gear, lfs keeps beeping because of the button keeps getting pressed. (i got a program that assings a button to an axle...
now lfs keeps beeping for that button, is there any way to dissable that sound or a different way so solve it?

I used to use this program, works very nicely. If you pick up a FF joystick, there's a seperate app for that as well, "FF Shifter".

i use that app
and i think it causes what i posted here

I was actually thinking about this a few days ago, since I just got a new joystick. I might have to give all this a shot, although without a clutch pedal it'll be kinda wasted.

I used to use my old Sidewinder pedals for a clutch, can pick one up for under a tenner. That + a Logitech FF shifter = good fun.

There's an option in the app to toggle between constantly sending the button press, and only sending it once per gearchange, IIRC. That should fix it up.

i tryed it, but no luck, lfs doesnt detect it at all...

after professional thinking i just removed the sound file that i was keep hearing. everything fixed now
