Hi,

I've been hosting a demo host for a while now and some of the guys playing(me included) have bought s2 licenses, so ive now added a second s2 host on the same server(different name and port etc) and changed /mode=s2 but when i try to connect as an s2 client its says host version is different.
I double checked i was connecting to the right port which i was but this second server only seems to let me connect as a demo client, any ideas?

Are you sure LFS isn't set to "online mode select: demo"?

Running multiple servers should not be a problem, regardless of what mode they're set to. Does both servers show up on LFS World?

yep ive been selecting s2, i can also see people joining the "s2" server who i know only have the demo.

Just checked the server list(ive not actually used it becuase i connect via local ip to my server) and neither of them are there for me but i must assume they are otherwise the people who i play with would never get there!
I can only assume they arent in the list for me because im behind he same external IP address?

I take it you dont have to buy an extra S2 license just to run a dedicated host?

What's the name of your servers?

Actually, you don't need ANY license to run a dedicated S2 server.
