What exactly are points? The article never actually says what they are, sorry I"m not familiar with British rail terminology

Points - where one line splits into 2 (or 2 join to one) you have "points" where you pick which track the train goes across

points, where you can change the train from one track to another. I think that's correct?
Got it, I just looked it up, we call then railway switches here, sorry for the confusion.

Don't you also call drivers engineers? That came up Madden 07 for some reason. If you can re-do the graphics to make it PAL, surely it wouldn't be TOO much work to change some of the questions in the wonderlic test thing/change the spellings/add German and so-on language options.
Drivers were called engineers 100 or so years ago, but the proper term is now "Driver," most of the general public doesn't know that, however.

It calls them engineers in MS Train Sim (I found it for a few pounds in a charity shop. I'm useless at it).
I've been on the Pendelino a number of times down to London, and they're good trains. Fast, reasonably comfy, smooth and power points. It's good to see one come off that well in a serious accident.

I hope it prompts the Govt. to put more thought into making public transport safer, and less into stupid schemes to monitor the public by technology. When you consider other european countries have trains like the TGV (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TGV) which goes upto 200mph, the rail network in the UK is woefully underdeveloped.
its good to see the trains frame relativley intacked from that accident, jus abit worrying still when it was only doing 95mph, arent they designed to do 135-155?
