Slowing down with bi processor Intel 6600
Hi all,

Please have a look there http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?p=299499

It's a post I wrote a few weeks ago, to try to solve my problem.

Assuming this game is the only one that shows this symptoms, and that it happens always at same places, it looks like a kind of bug.

Using programs that monitor my CPU's, I discovered that CPU 0 used a IRQ request that makes game slow down to 20-25 fps always in the same parts of tracks, making driving very hard and not funny.

If I remove CPU 0 from lfs.exe process (using CTRL-ALT-DEL), game works fine with 150 fps instead of 180.

If devs need I can send them what they need to solve this problem (reports or so)

Thanks
Alot of programs can't handle dual-processor systems too well. LFS just happens to be one of them I think.

If you mean "multicore-processors systems" I can tell you that mine runs fine with all of my programs including LFS.
I m speaking about that product :

6600 series

LFS is the only game I ve problems, and only online. It works fine if I cut the 1rst processor, as described in the link in the original post.

So I bet it's a LFS problem, and if needed I can help devs if they need smth from my machine.
