I don't like cheap animated GIFs, so you can imagine what I voted for
GIF-avatars are fine, as long as they are done properly (e.g. AndroidXP's avatar back then), but flashing words are not my thing

Just disable image animations if using Firefox.. saves distracting images on web pages and also saves a shitload of CPU cycles on forums where threads contain a lot of animated smilies

Just to add my 2c <throws 2 one cent coins left over from the other week> I'd say change your avatar because it looks like one of those awful banner ads, which I dislike to the extent I Adblocked it.

Aside from that, if the occasional image of a woman with spinning pies is offensive then the avatars that are solely women's chests are far worse, and if we deny ourselves the right to virtual pit girls then this won't be a race-sim anymore.
