The online racing simulator
question about the s2 license
is it possible to "return" s2 and get your money back after you already buy the license? Thanks
Nope.

I'm on post whore quest:

EDIT: Looking at your LFSWorld stats, you've barely scratched the surface of what LFS has to offer.

EDIT 2:

That's not what I meant!
You really can't get a refund on any software that you buy, LFS or other software. This is due to the nature of the consumer good being in digital form and easily copied and returned. LFS is slightly unique with the online unlocking with a password, but you can still unlock then ask for a refund, in which you would still have the unlocked usable copy on your harddrive. So, I'd give the answer a no.

Just curious, mind stating why you would like a refund? I'm being selfish here because we really do need more racers in the US timezones and I'd rather see someone stay than to attempt to "refund" this fantastic sim.
i've been playing the demo for a while and have gotten really used to it, when i finally decided to order the license, i thought i was going to get 10x the fun. After unlocking S2 i realized that all of the hard work it took me to tweak the car for the track that i played in the demo was now useless and i would have to start from scratch with all of the new cars and a ton more tracks.
you mad !who wants a refund its the best sim ever !!

I'm surprised you're surprised, to be honest. Some people come on here and complain that there's not enough content in the demo and they want a bit more - you seem to be annoyed that there's too much content in the full version First time for everything I suppose ...

Sorry to state the bloody obvious, but that's kind of what happens when you pay your money and gain access to a whole new set of features - you need to learn a few new things. Hell, it's happened every time I've gone from the demo version to the full version of any game, or any software for that matter Can I ask exactly what you did expect?
with that of the settings, if you dont wanto to make them from scratch you can go to teaminferno setupfield, and the edit a bit for your preferences if you want
you have to try the cars and tracks(in some correct, nice servers), and you will find the fun you want, im not having x10 fun in comparison to the demo... IM HAVING X20
We are all fan boys here so don't expect any nice responses lol

In honesty though lfs does simulate most of the popular race classes, only big/popular class missing is LMP imo and there are alot of track types so should be able to find fun at some tracks
Set ups- As said look at inferno set up field there are some good set ups on there although they may need modifying to suit your driving.

If im honest i would say - Download some set ups of infernos, go racing online and give LFS a few weeks and then see if you stil feel the same way. As when i first got S2 it was overwhelming because of the so many combo's but ibky a few are driven online so get learning them
