Quote from beefyman666 :Theres only been like 4 or 5 episodes.

Roll on the summer.

6 Actually. But it feels like hardly any.
How come I only saw three?

When I saw that panda rolin' in, I was wondering how long it would take before it would fall in half. I just can't believe they pulled it off making those cars that long. And I couldn's stop laughing when Jeremy drove off without the back end

I can't keep my mouth shut, people, go watch the show
Awesome episode up with the Reliant Robin space shuttle

[QUOTE=nikimere;347248What!? The Audi RS4 http://www.caradisiac.com/medi ... ag/mag262/audi-rs4-1b.jpg

Those vertical grills really make it look silly and too bulbous IMO, the B5 was the last good looking Audi IMO, comparing it to an E36 it looks way ahead of it's time, although I still think the Beamers prettier and there's no question which I'd go for

Saw an original Quattro painted in works colours this morning and it even today it still has the jaw dropping effect the ultimate track day beast
i loved it at the start where Jeremy cuts the panda in half and tests it :P i want a car like that, half panda ftw
Damn scene and their stupid rules, 5mb over the limit and it's nuked Very hard to find the damn cap now. I need my TG fix!
I'd rather download it for free from a torrent-site. Doing a ISOHunt-search for "Top Gear", and then sort by file-size will get you a nice little collection, then all you'll need are the 2 last seasons and those are also easy to find.
I've got all but Season 6 and I should have that shortly too For some reason my usual torrent site isn't torrenting the latest episode, thanks for the link but I try to avoid public trackers.

Believe me, I've spent a lot of time and got a lot of material through torrents but I bought a 1 month subscription to Rapidhsare premium recently and the reduction in hassle compared to torrents is well worth it for me. You can download immediately with full bandwidth, there's no messing about with waiting for seeds, overcrowded public trackers, registration to private trackers, upload ratios (before you start thinking I'm a leecher I have an overall ratio of about 0.3 with a connection of 2048/256, so I do my bit with torrents) etc. Personally spending £4.50 for 1 month (with a maximum bandwidth limit of about 150GB) is a lot better than messing about with torrents.

Kinda the point of the internet isn't it? The only reason BT might be slower is PEBKAC
Quote from amp88 :there's no messing about with waiting for seeds

Most things i download have 100-1000 seeds by the time i get to them
Quote from amp88 :overcrowded public trackers

Isn't that kinda the point of BT? Besides, if you use a service like ISOHunt, you'll get so many trackers on one torrent it doesn't really matter
Quote from amp88 :registration to private trackers

I'm only registered to one Private tracker(norwegian stuff only) and i find with ease whatever else i want elsewhere

Again, most stuff is freely avaiable on most public trackers.

Suit yourself, I'd rather spend that cash on a pack or two of DVD-R's
This'll probably only make sense to anyone in the UK.... but does anyone else think that Top Gear is becoming Blue Peter for kidults?

We've got the scratch made projects, the three presenters, the trips abroad, and the dog.

BTW LP640? I wouldn't say no.... Know what you're saying about the Audi influence, but it still looks and sounds like a slightly psychotic friend, who makes you a bit nervous. Quite handsome and articulate, good to be around, but sometimes you catch him from a certain angle and he's looking at someone in a way that just isn't really.... well,... humane.

Hehe, calm down. I was just providing a link for people to try and help them out. I'm not looking for an argument here. Let me re-iterate though that I do use torrents myself, I have done so for quite some time (so I do, infact, know how to get the best out of things) but I was just pointing out that as a protocol torrents aren't as good as HTTP for quickly spreading files. The number of connections and resources used by any torrent client and the nature of how things are sent and received means it'll never be as clean, fast or efficient as HTTP.
Of course anyone who's got ntl/Virgin can watch Top Gear on on-demand for nout ... I caught up with the rest of the series on Saturday

Yes, Top Gear is turning into Blue Peter with bigger toys. Its entertaining but not informative any more ...
Torrents are faster than http for me. 15minutes til my top gear fix

Top Gear test track = Blue Peter garden

As long as they keep taking the piss, I won't mind. I'm not too bothered about the lack of informative opinion, and I know its all scripted, but if they back off from pushing sensitive buttons, it'll get boring quickly. It was a short series though, which makes me think either they spent a huge amount of the production budget on those projects or they were quite aware that they could quickly get into a rut.
Considering how popular it is overseas, I'd go for the latter of the two Gotta be getting hard to come up with new ideas now though!

I liked the old series when they did taboggan vs. rallycar and rock climber vs. V8 Audi - I'd like to see more of that kind of racing
The reason for all this messing about is a lack of new cars being released. Next series they will return to more car testing with the odd bit of madness.

Oh and clarksons Panda limo

Yay Top Gear!
