Why is it that the OLFSL website is always so awfully slow to be loaded?

And every now and then it's even offline ...

I've never found it slow myself, but there was something wrong this morning, but it's fine now.

Well, I can only speak for myself, but for me the OLFSL website most of the time takes a few seconds to appear at all. Before that, I see only a blank screen. I guess it's the DNS querying that takes such a long time.

At home I have a 6MBit DSL and at my working place an even faster connection to the internet. Doesn't change anything.

I usually have loading times betweeb 0.5 and 2 secs. Are all the pages as slow as the main?
