Yeah, make 10 threads of the same suggestion and I'm sure the devs will stop doing whatever they're doing, and start making a mountiain dritf curse for u...
Kind of related to the youtubes: GTR2 realism (Google video). Keep in mind that I really tried to be open minded and really, really tried to enjoy gtr2, but it just.. fails. I figured some modding team would try to recreate realistic slip curves but that's just fantasy, it's all bullshit.
GTR2 has the nice tracks but physics fail, maybe LFS needs some of those nice user made tracks?
What a shitty mod, makers have had not even smallest idea how it should be done
Yeah, realistic curves does help but it will never be so good because there are flaws in engine, don't know if GTR2 has even more flaws as rFactor, well at least in rFactor, it is same engine, what is possible in rFactor should be possible in GTR2 also.
When tire is slowing down it is very controllable, too controllable then when you accelerate there is hardly any control. With light cars it is even more of problem than with heavier cars, but that is not only problem.
But it is possible to make sliding very easy, to make it sliding and to have realistic grip when racing is problem.
Niels did play with my WIP mod a bit, make it sliding more, and then even more as you can see even ridiculous amount of sliding is possible, that is with 200hp, so I think that I can say that mod that you try in GTR2 was made really badly, surprise once again.
