YES! the Bogeyman.... and he told me it was the Leprechauns that did it !
Quote from Meanie :Don't listen to this man when he's talking about "unknown issues/features".
He has no credibility!

Ugh, I wonder how long it will take to live THAT down. If Bob was nice (which he's not!) he would've removed that thread as requested. He's not my favorite mod anymore! Mean Head!
Quote from XCNuse :actually.. it is possible, but like i've stated, its only possible with cars with speed limiters, and the only car i know its possible in is the FV8

if you dont believe me, look in bugs and search a thread started by me and something to do with stalling or limiter

My search came up dry.
you're right.. i wonder where it went..

anyways, basically what you have to do is go fast, downshift, and hit the limiter, and the car should shut off until you step on the gas again (can tell its off because RPMs drop to 0 and engine stops making sound)
um, yeah... thats called toasting an engine....

youre lucky it even started again.
Quote from liberty_kid :but when i go down a straight..on only one of my setups..chuck it into second at 200kmph...then slow down alot..the engine runs like it has 10hp at the wheels lol. dunno if this is intended or not.

Sorry, but LOL.
Quote from liberty_kid :i think i have found a glitch with my lfs.

it may or may not be a glitch...

if you want i can get a replay if anyone hasnt seen it?

You know how a gearbox works, don't you?

LOL, this reminds me of last night I was out with my brothers car(He's learning to drive) and a nice lady let him out at a junction. When we got in front of the ladys car my bro tapped the brakes sharply "wtf you do that for?" I said "Erm I was saying thank you!" he said. I think he may have got a little mixed up with the whole 'flashing' of the lights to say thanks

HAHAHAHA!
Now that's "naive"
I don't know if this has to do with anything, but there IS an XRT setup that goes up to 999mph, and then when shifting down, it blows the engine...

It probably doesnt..
Quote from liberty_kid :yes i know how an engine and gearbox work...just didnt know if it was programmed into lfs...as sitting on the limiter doesnt seem to hurt it.

Thats got nothing to do with stalling!

Anyway - If LFS was just a little more realistic then when you turn off clutch help and stop then it should stall, maybe devs. need to think about changing that in future versions. Make it more "fun"
