My choice: Being loved. Doesn't matter how crap a day you've had, or what the weather outside is like; you know that someone cares for you very strongly.
EDIT: OR!:
Driving a Ferrari 250 GTO down the back straight of Laguna seca in sunset. Just you and the track. The last chance to get that pole. The people on the stands watch in awe as you hustle by, the engine getting closer and closer to the redline. Getting closer to the braking point, shifting manually from 5th to 3rd. Braking hard, feeling how the ECCI pedals really do the work, listening the brakes squeel, sensing the truly pressure sensitive brake pedal. Tapping the throttle before releasing clutch gently and slowly start to turn in into the cork screw. Push the clutch quickly to change to 2nd, tapping the throttle and finally release the brakes. At the same time start applying throttle, letting the rear end slide a bit on the way out, gently giving it more power. You body shakes when the revs start to build up, 4000, 5000, 6000. The engine roars like a beast making you grin like like a devil. Clutch, throttle, upshift, left hander. Feel the G-forces pulling you against the seatb belts and hear the tires scream more more more! Just few corners after you have made it. Press shift-F, look at the results table and exhale. 1st position just few tenths of thousands faster than anyone else. There are 40 times on that list but yours is the benchmark...
Lucky bugger. The best road race in the world ever... joey dunlop the king of the TT,
A friend of mine races sidecars hit his buttocks on a stone wall at over 120 mph when the driver took the corner to tight, he was pronounced dead for 4 mins luckily after a few years he is back to his old self,
Getting out on my bike, on a sunny sunday morning, when everyone else is nursing a hangover, and wringing the nuts off of it.
After a days shooting(photography) to get home and see that I've come up with some really good shots, and to have people I dont know say they like them too.
Waking up to the LA sun, stretching on the beach, going rollerblading along the beach front for an hour or so and then making my way home.
Spending time with my cousin.
