hi, i have 3 controllers: 1 steering wheels and joystick(home made shifter)
but when i connect em all, lfs chooses the joystick as controller, and when i disconnect so it doesnt appear with the controllers, then i reconnect it but the my program to config the joystick as shifter doesnt work anymore,
so my request:

a list to choose wich controller to use for steering.

yes i have looked at axis axle thing to config but it doesnt recongize my main steering wheel there.. so i dunno if this is more a technical assistance thing or suggestion, so mods feel free to move it to the right place

still would be cool thing to see in lfs

LFS has always picked up all possible game controller axis for me. Will test it a bit more thorough but plugging all the hardware in the house in.

You're correct, LFS does pick them all up, but if one gets priority over the others it can cause problems. The only solution I've found with using a Saitek gaming keyboard and any other input is to disable 2 of the HID drivers for the keyboard to prevent LFS picking it up as the primary controller. This then causes problems for using the full facilities of the keyboard.
