Until something better comes along probably. Although it would have to be pretty damn incredible for me to leave LFS completely. iRacing is probably the no.1 candidate ATM.

I don't drive all that much and have had longer breaks but I love the way LFS literally brings a smile to my face when I fire it up for the first time in a couple of weeks, even after 4+ years.

I want to play it for years.

probably I think it gets boring in 1 year, then forget about this game, after a couple of years, I am checking the LFS link in my favourites and -poof- I'm back!

I will continue playing it until I dont enjoy it anymore. I play other games as well, which makes me appreciate lfs even more.

the funny thing about it (for me) is that the longer i play it, the less i care about new cars and new tracks, and the more i care about perfecting my driving. i think that's a sign that it's good.

Here I am, back from school. So many of you are talking about other simulations, that means you will play CAR SIMs for ever?
I think I will. But IMO there won't be ever anything better then Live for Speed. Cuz LFS is constantly developing. And Scrawen, Eric and Victor thank you for that

Well, "for ever" is a looong time for me to be sure.

But I know that LFS is the best game I have ever played and that I have already stop playing other games, because they seem too shallow compared to LFS.

I couldn't get into iRacing because of the subscription system- I really don't like the idea of paying by the month. Driver's Republic sounds fantastic on paper, and RBR is a great rally sim- the beta test of DR was quite lacklustre but that's saying nothing really. Netkar Pro- didn't spend much time with it.

I don't think I've really started to get into LFS properly yet. I mean, I still need to get a decent wheel, and gain a better understanding of the fundamentals of good driving. I'm still a bit timid online as well- but I love hot-lapping and trying to beat my PB's. I'll be playing LFS for a long while yet.

well i´m playing LFS since the very first steps... what means since 2002 still nowadays i lost my motivation for driving... doing some laps in GTR2 but reading this forum and being active in the community everyday in LFS a bit coz of cyber racing anyway and all the friends i have here and of course i will stay here until cyber racing dies

I'll propably play for as long as my old computer can hack it. If LFS starts to need expensive hardware that is when I quit.

I don't much care for graphics. If the game is otherwise good what do you need sparkling graphics for? It's just bling bling and rice.

Best game I've ever had the pleasure of playing is ToME.

I agree with Greboth. The game community, gameplay, physics, skin, tracks and other is mod-able and also the graffic etc. is improved time to time!

I'm playing for about 1 year now, and I won't stop playing LFS until I feel someday there is the right time I should stop & goes on with my own life...

Currently, I will keep playing till i'm 20 and so on...currently i'm 14..
