Why do I see the attached when clicking on a normal thread sometimes?

That's usually the message you get when the thread you're posting to has been removed (typically because it's just a bitching session, with little or no value). I suspect you may be thinking of the CaReFuLl thread I just ditched, because it was 90% insults about spelling in English

Indeed; I clicked on it to read it and POW, got that message. I noted later that the thread had gone the way of the dodo, and assumed the phenomenon were linked somehow

I still never got to read the garbage though

tbh, I spirited it away because it just wasn't headed in a nice direction. Steve's created a new thread about Tiscali, which resides in Technical Assistance. Hopefully over there he'll get some help with the issue, and will be able to play online in no time.

Sorry for ruining the thread, I tried to explain myself afterwards, but apparantly it got removed around the same time, or maybe more was added. I wasn't intending on a whole flameware, just noted it

No panic! I just took one big step back from the thread and thought for a bit, that's all I know how it is.. you have a burning desire to make a point, and the point you want to make is a good one. It's difficult to resist making that point, even though you know the response will be just as strong as yours. That's why I deleted the thread. Not because anyone was wrong, but because everyone was right. It's just that they were also harsh and/or angry. It's all good now
