Indeed
Cheers!

Yeah, that exhibition was great, I'm glad I decided to go in anyways... Tris, Jo, Android and Flo all were nice guys I enjoyed meeting...
Hmm, that's it Tristan, don't mention me, heh. /me storms off in huff

Or are you just trying to block those two experiences from long term memory?
Quote from chunkyracer :I saw from your profile that you're from Macau and have a protuguese flag. So, why don´t you check the portuguese forum: http://www.simracingportugal.net/.
Altough I never met anyone personaly, I think I can consider some of the guys from the LFS comunity my "friends", specialy, of course, the people from my team, with who I talk trough MSN or Teamspeak.

Tks man. However, my portuguese is not that good I've grown up in Macau and now studying in USA. My english is way better than my portuguese
Quote from Vykos69 :well keithano, the biggest difference is the join date in ur profile, to those who answered positively to your question. Up to 4 years (O M F G) could make a little difference

O yea. That should be a huge difference. I'm just wondering after years, will I just stay the same as now...
well i havent really made new friends on LFS, only been on it for 4 weeks but i have friends that are like my proper friends were i live on LFS, but they have demo so i dont really race them but they sometimes come to demo! so no i havent really made new friends YET!!!
Quote from szyszek :@ Kim, I've heard of Richard Torp, but haven't met him
That story of you hiring someone from LFS made me laugh. You must have very professional conversations with him at work I imagine

Well, it's almost work related! My company is offering PR services/graphic design/etc. for racing teams, and he is working as a writer for some of my costumers.

Yesterday, we were putting on sponsor logos on a WTCC-spec. BMW 320i E46, that I designed. While we did, we had some conversations about real life cars in LFS, the danish championships, and of course the fact that we would be faster than the owner of the BMW - because we play LFS

Quote from DeadWolfBones :I think an ATL-area meetup could definitely be in the offing. ;]

That would be bitchin!! I know that several are from the Atlanta area and others are within a couple hour's drive. There are several good places in the area for a meet up.

There's Hooters of Downtown Atlanta, Hooters of Cumberland, Hooters of Tara, Hooters of Conyers, Hooters of Hiram - yep, loads of good places.

LOL! I was thinking more along the lines of speed zone, atlanta motor speedway or road atlanta!
tristan! fordman!
Never met anyone in person but then i have not been to any kart meet's or similar. Depends on your definition of friends but there are people who i talk to on msn, ex team mates, current team mates etc who i speak to most days and who know personal things and so more than just a LFS player/team mate. So i suppose yes do have friends through lfs.
Loads! Mostly dutch tho for some reason and one other guy from setubal! very big lover of loads
