Need Help With Buying 2 Items
Hi all,

I need some help with 2 items that me and my dad are getting soon. First of all, dues to my G25 getting ordered soon, i want to have a nice firm desk, which can almost have no flex even with the strength of a G25 and also one that does'nt have a bottom so there is somewhere to put the pedals. I know some of you may be thinking "why dont you just go to staples and look for yourself" but the reason for this is because if i asked a salesman where i can find a suitable desk for a G25, i pretty sure he/she would'nt know what the bloody hell i am talking about . If any of you G25 racer's have a good desk, please feel free to tell me what desk it is, then i can have a look at it or maybe send me a link? The other item is one my dad is going to purchase in a month, A 2007 Suzuki GSX-R 1000, im just looking for anyone who has rode this bike, im looking at people like Danowat in particular, as i know he is a keen biker, and i dunno whether he has rode one, but basically just looking for any experience anyone has on the bike, and if they can tell me the highs and lows of the bike.

Thats all for now

You really want a desk with is very stable. Mine isnt ever-so stable and sucks big time. One thing I found, which I hadn't read anywhere else, was the clamps on the wheel arn't as wide as I think they should be. I have a "chunky" desk, and I was panicking at work (where mine was delivered) as I didnt think it would fit. Thankfully it does, with about half a turn left on the knobs.

I can't help you with the desk balls, except go to Staples yourself. But mainly, I wanted to share the above information.
Ive ridden a K6 if that helps.

What bike does your dad have ATM? assuming he has one.
The k7 is just like the K6, but with a few small differences. firstly, and most noticibly, its heavier. but not by much, and you can reduce this by ditching the twin zausts that come with it standard for a single 4-1 system. the brakes are phenominal, 4 pot radials stop on a dime. cant tell you about brake fade, as I only had the bike for one day(trade with a mate).
it loves to wheelie, and does it so effortlessly, but you would expect that. good front end, and lots of confidence too. I actually prefer the 750 to this though, but thats personal preferance.
I've ridden a pushbike
A K7 hey? well, highs and lows, ok

Highs

1) One of the fastest 1 litre sports bikes you can buy

2) One of the best handling 1 litre sports bikes you can buy

3) One of the best 1 litre sports bikes you can buy period.

Lows

1) 3 position engine mapping is nothing more than a gimmick

2) You will very rarely (more like never) be able to use it (or any new 1 litre sports bike) to it's full potential on the road PERIOD

I have ridden the 750, and I would say that is the better bet for the road.
