how do i create a server if i just want to hold a race on it? I click the Create Game or w/e the button is and then i set all of the settings and the title and then i join the race. The problem is when i try to leave, i have to end the game and ultimately the server. Is the server that i am creating an actual server that would appear on the server list? If it is, why does it close when i leave the game?

If what i have made is not a real server, how do i create a "real" server?

You would like to rent a server or use one dedicated computer to run dedicated server software, that should be always on when you like to server to be running.

You have started hosting a race, there really is not much of difference as both show up on host list and work same way, only when you are hosting race from your game it uses your internet connection and that is often limiting racers to something around 6-8 depends lot of what speed your connection is.

Remember when renting a server that also location of server affects to ping times and if server is other side of planet that is going to be higher ping compared to server that is near, high ping means less smooth operation.
