The AI seemingly randomly got a 30second penalty.

thats really awkward though, but then again LFs is alpha. who knows what might pop out next

AI got a 30sec penalty because you had to pit and the AI never so it got DSQ.

so why did it happen before the end of the race?

Because you cant pit on last lap. so once AI starts last lap it would get the penalty (havent watched the replay, but thats what i know)
