Upgrading a PC with OEM Windows..
The question:

I have OEM version ow Windows Xp. I'm going to upgrade my PC a bit in next few months,by adding more RAM,new GPU and more powerful power supply.

So,will I have to bow down to the Almighty Bungohle of Mr. Gates and buy another copy of winlolz,or it should all be A-OK when I buy the parts and install them?

Thank you for your answers....

****ing a grade a-hole,that Gates....
As long as your motherboard stays the same you'll be fine.
hard to say really since i have no idea of the law on oem software in croatia

all i can tell you that in some countries you will be in for a problem as ms can push pretty much any eula as they please while other countries basically force them to let you activate an oem copy on any pc (ie oem software has to be fully useable with the only downside of it being that its not supported)

edit:
an easy way to check on that would probably be by checking if its legal to sell oem software seprately ie without a pc in your country ... if it is you can change your hardware to whichever degree you like
all of the above shouldn't matter. You wont need to re-install windows when you upgrade the parts you say your going to upgrade.
I got rumbled doing this. I used the windows OEM cd from another machine and put it on mine, everything was ok till windows wanted to be activated, so i put in the correct number which was refused, ended up having to ring microsoft for a license number. As soon as i mentioned OEM i was questioned as to the make and model of the pc. Like a DIV i gave him the deatils of my machine instead of the previous one. DOH!! I was very politely told off for trying this on. So no number to activate windows!! To save the bother i went out and bought a full version!!

EDIT but upgrading should and will be fine
