Sorry for the late notice but I'm going to have to pull out Family stuff I'm afraid..cant really get out of it.
This is most annoying after putting in a full race distance practice last night and finally getting somewhere on the setup front (thanks for your replies by the way)

Hopefully there's someone on standby to take my place.

Have a good race guys. I look forward to joining you in a GP length race next time round.

I think tomorrow I will die on track, from sim butterflies
I'm very sorry but i can't race this evening!
one of the reasons is that i'm on low speed internet since today and i would just time out with 20 other people on a server...
so my spot is free for this evening
The one corner/set corners that need most care, especially on lap 1 will the double left and chicane section just after the first split.

The best line leaves a massive, inviting opening for a pass but this is just an illusion as the car being over taken HAS to turn in. If you go for that gap, the car being overtaken will either turn in on you as they are already committed or hit the barrier on the outside and bounce into you taking you both out....and everyone else behind.

I would advise people to try and resist the temptation to go for this gap as it really isn't a gap at all. It's like the fast chicane at Aston Club, you can pass there but it really is not a good idea.

We've got 60 laps so lap 1 heroics are not needed.

Nice post. But why tell everyone? I'd love it if a load of people crash out at T1. I'm gonna be slow tonight so I'll be leaving plenty of room for incidents like this so I should avoid any pileups. Fingers crossed anyway.
Hey Franky, what method will you use to distribute the server password tonight mate?

Carrier pigeon, just go sit on your roof and watch out for it. I believe your particular pigeon is called, Martha.
gag's is called nancy, after the great nancy-may tinker bell. ah the memories (not of the pigeon)
It seems ATC are a team of Pigeon Fanciers lol

dont forget the donkey.

Ih btw.. it shall be by e-mail and will be sent at 6pm BST ON THE DOT (roughly)
"on the dot....roughly" is that the same a definite maybe
getting back to why i was gonna post. i think it would be wise if entrents could get on the server about an hour (or 2) before qualifying just so you can practice with/against the drivers who are in the gp.

Love to but I won't get back from work until 6:30. Should be on about 7:30ish
it might be better for you to qually in full race trim then my friend (so you can find the groove for the race)
ill be there 10mins before the race
qualifying is too early... so is race but owell

lol - always do m8 Don't give a monkeys where I come in quali. I don't think its that important at these GP events unless you are a true front runner, which ofcourse I am not

ok I'm goin for 59 pit stops and 128 sets of tyres

I hope my kids dont do the usual and charge over to me with petti-falu and fish fingers al over the place ....I'll try not to crash too much and am gonna take it easy, just aiming to finish

Good luck all!

Don't worry about the tyres (R3's) dude, they get hot...yes...but thats just heat and not wear. After about 15 or so laps they start to cool and their performance comes back.

The actual wear comes into play around 30 laps plus.

Ha ha GF thats easy, my 2 y/o done what I feared on lap 57> shoves a chicken nugget in my ear. I smacks the wall under the bridge and had to limp to pit lane loosing two places from 5th over the line

E;
What happened to Franky? I turned back on messeges in race and everyone was laughing at him???

Thats a good result for your first attempt mate. If you'd got 3rd it would have made me sick Took me several GPs before I finished that high up the order.
i had a good race. i quallified 2nd behind lep. i kept telling lep i didn't need to qually first as i am planning on passing him into T2. which i did (lep just got a bad line me finx). from then on it was head down and flat out. i was 19 seconds ahead of the pack when i had to pit (L30) everything went to plan. and when everyone else pitted i was back in first. everything was going smoothly and at the start of lap 35 (i think) i said to myself "now i must be careful at the exit of T1" and just as i finished saying that to myself i sufferent massive understeer and hit the very curb i was talking to myself about. i have never rolled at the curb when practicing so i was not too worried. but what ever way my car landed, it just sent me over and over and over and over. checked my damage (f10) and the left front was hammered to say the least. so i crept back to the pits (i think i scared stoney on my way there) and pitted again. as i was setting my pit strategy up, i forgot to make sure i was at pitlane speed (i wasn't) i was going 52mph and go me a nice wee DT. from then on in it was just a game of catch up which didn't really work. finished 3rd but i could of owned that gp. back markers were as usual, spot on. except one or two people driving the wrong way at the pit exit (not what i would call "pro" driving).
