hi,

does anyone ever put dirt, grease, stains, oil, etc on their skins? i do like that worn look cars get during long races. i tried a bit with photoshop, but am not satisfied with my experiments.

I've tried, but the result is a bit ugly since the dirt / rust / whatever still is as shiny as the rest of the bodywork

Hmm, i did see a skin for the FZR, think it was on the Master Skinnerz forum. He did grime up the front of the car, looked pretty good but as Huru-aito said, because of the shine it'll never look 'right'?

I did put oil all over the front of my last skin for the XFR but that was supposed to be part of the paint scheme.

AS a fellow team member of Justin, I can safely say that Justin's dirt effects are VERY cool. The are subtle, so the standard reflectivity of the cars is less of a problem. Perfect...
