im really sorry guys, another noob asking about this again... iv read loads off threads about this mod but mine still dont work....


iv got the right version.. for V..

iv started the smokemod and then started lfs and it says its working, but there still the same amount of smoke.. iv changed the .cfg from


2400/5000 to 2400/7000

in fact iv put alsorts in there trying to get it to work even 5000/5000 but nothing...

what am i doing wrong :doh:


the readme file dont contain any usefull info....

dont matter iv deleted it, 4 hours of trying to get it too run has made my brain hurt LOL

It's on kegetys site, look for smoke texture pack. I haven't tried it using the default smoke so I dunno how it works. But for it to really be smoky, you need to do a burnout or huge drift to heat the tyres up nice and red. Ogh yeh, I tried 5000 and it worked fine, 7000 was heaps and you couldnt see the car amidst all the smoke.
