As far as I see, the AI which is working on Formula cars (Particularly formula v8) is not fast enough. It looks like another slow cars driver (AI) is drivng the car. If you arrange a race for formula cars with other cars, you can see that nearly all other fast cars can pass formula cars. (It must be impossible)

The AI is bascially the same AI as in S1. It has no concept of dynamic cars (varying fuel loads, tyre temps, wear, damage or pit stops. The formula cars, which are light and powerful (especially the FO8) really stress the limit of the AI's ability to drive.

In time the AI will improve (is this considered an incompatible patch?), it will become more aware of the cars state and the position of the players car.

However, the AI does still learn, and allowing the AI to drive a number of laps with reasonable setups WILL help them. My FOX AI was initially unwilling to go flat round the banking on Kyoto National - after about 40 laps they are finally getting there, so if they appear dumb, let them drive

I agree with Tristan. If you think about this, coskun_bulent, then you realise, that it`s not a bug.

Well, in a way, it IS a big. But as LFS is an ONLINE simulator, the AI has always been neglected. In much the same way as rFactor is a MODDING sim (a sim of racing that is meant for modding) the default cars are some of the worst to ever grace a car game.
