This would be so much easier in Finnish - it's Lexuksia or Lexukset
Quote from Batterypark :This would be so much easier in Finnish - it's Lexuksia or Lexukset

Yeah, stupid English language! But try telling them that..
Quote from LFSn00b :Can we just say it's Lexuses? I mean... There is a Lexus(SCsomething), then there comes another Lexus, so there is two Lexuses.

you could, but you'd be wrong
Quote from dawesdust_12 :I said Lexus' just to piss Kev off, everyone knows that the plural is just Lexus, even though Lexuses seems to sound better.

But Lexi sounds even better.
So is the plural of Prius, "Prii"?
from a prius forum (found in a google search)

Quote :4th declension neuter adjective. Depending on who you ask, the Latin plural is either "prius" and you change the noun which is being modified to a plural, or the Latin plural is "priores". (Root of "prius" is "prior")

Toyota seems to indicate that "Prius" is both singular and plural, like "deer" or "sheep"

Some English speakers tend to like "Priuses" or "Prii"

Or, you could treat like an adjective, and say that you saw "two Prius cars."

Whatever. we all know what you mean.

and

Quote :We asked the Toyota executive in charge of the initial Prius rollout how his people refer to more than one Prius. His response was "Prius".

They use the same word for both. And since they named the vehicle, they are the ones that get the official say... though you can still refer to them the way you want.

Lexi

As said by the great man himself

Alan Partridge
i'll likely bring down the wrath of all the british for this...but i didn't see what is so great about alan partridge (based off the lexi clip). he really just seemed...annoying. kind of like a bad SNL skit (is that redundant?). but maybe it was just that one clip and the rest of his stuff is better
