Thanks for this last night - was a lot of fun. I've not been able to play LFS much recently, so was a bit rusty, yet still managed to humble a few of you!
Because of RealLife(tm) I only got one race and one lap of the next race, plus about 40 minutes of qualifying - I think next time we should only have 10 minutes qualifying, then lots of races.

But it was good to race a few of you that I hadn't in a while. Mr Moo Danny got a little bit excited passing me at one point and forgot to turn in, and I (on the outside) did turn in = accident. Not to worry, everyone else spun off so I ended up winning by fluke, but I don't hold any grudges Dan

Good fun wasn't it although it got very quiet later on. Not as popular as AS Hist Rev.

I'm gonna try and get a proper server running for the FO8. Mine only handles 7 racers before everyone gets discod.

There were a few people there last night with servers they were willing to offer. I guess it all depends on whether you want the server to be called Gentlefoot's FO8 Server, or something like Moo Racing #2... Maybe someone (in this example MOO) would be willing to rename a server for a couple of hours for you

And yes - I want to run my own server or two. I have some big ideas for an LFS resource centre and a couple of servers will be required.

Yes. At the moment it seems to be daily, but I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a weekly thing soon. Almost like a regular league event, but without the dedication needed, and shorter races.

Yes mate - again I will set up an F08 server with yet another combo - probably KY GP Long normal this time.

But yeah - I think it's cool to get all of us from the forum together. I often chat with you blokes and yet I rarely see many of you online. Having a daily vote for a track generates interest and I must say, the friendliness and standard of driving from the people who have been online the last two nights has been excellent. I haven't see a single argument. Just lots of apolgies and nps.

It'll be up and running from about 18:00 BST. It may only be a 7 man one though. Depends how quick I can get a 23 man.

I say stick with the results of the current poll. So far it's between KY GP Long Normal and Blackwood Reverse.

Tell you what - he really is quick. I paid about 2 minutes ago and the server is up and running!!

I've set it to BLGP Reverse. The Teamspeak server is named GentlefootFO8Racing too. 87.117.226.87:8807

I might pop in and say "Hi", but it's only a couple of days to OWRL at KY Nat and I haven't done a race distance yet.

well I guess having a permanent FO8 server with Teamspeak and sensible track rotation is a step in the right direction. Hopefully

I've now set the server to Aston Historic for tomorrow night. Also I've changed the "planned" race time to 22:00 BST (an hour later) because this seems a busier time.

I'm looking forward to this circuit. Did a 2:26 in the FOX which is fast by my standards.

I agree, the FO8 is a great car... and it's not easy to find a track with this car.

On the [HR] Team Server (Track : Kyoto Oval) you can race with the FO8 and now it's the default car.
I'm sure that's the best car to learn on Oval...

The best car to learn Kyoto Oval is a broken down one - at least you have the enjoyment, excitement and pleasure of fixing your car, cut knuckles and dirty clothes.
