Hello!
I need a J2ME (java,.jar) file which is a tv remote control via IR for phones.My phone isn't symbian based so i can not use the (only) found sis files.

so anyways it would make me happy

I wondered about this too, so I did a search for it. Apparantly it's not possible to access the IR port through java. Some games installed on a cell can when they come with the cell, they are hardcoded to be allowed to access the port. I also saw a theory about non-symbian phones aren't fast enough to put the signals through, especially not on a java platform.

Is it Consumer Infrared or Data IR? if its Data IR it wont work, if its Consumer IR (CIR) then it will, although i dont think i've ever seen a CIR on a phone - some PDA's (ie my old FSC Loox 720 - god i miss that thing) have em
