Ok, maybe not hacking but it keeps showing up as I speak. I am browsing through the forum and it keeps asking me to log in (UKCT) and every topic I go through It keeps poping up! Anyone else seeing this?

Yes it is the userbars, they have passworded the http://stccu.ukct.net/ domain, so once they fix that it should be ok.

I've just been upgraded from Copper to Platinum STCC license, and the site now has a security popup, someone been hacking about?

Refer to screenshot... a username/password prompt has been popping up for a large number of forum posts, asking for a username/password for stccu.ukct.net. It doesn't happen on every page though.

What's the deal? Is somebody using a protected file on their sig or something?

Went to read the Dick Spring Racing thread in the Teams section and a log in box came up.

After clicking cancel it came back, but after an extra 3 or 4 clicks it let me in.

I've attached a screenshot of it.

My guess is someone made that domain private via http-login, but forgot it's a live url and used elsewhere.

No, as Victor (or the LFSForum) has nothing to do with it. As Tweak said the STCC Site has been secured with a password and everytime your Browser wants to load the Userbars from there it keeps asking for the Pw.

I wouldn't worry, I think someone's just turned the http security on to keep others out, whether that is the owner keeping a hacker out or vice versa remains to be seen!

Of course it might be neither, I shouldn't start rumours.

UKCT tell me it was a permissions problem after upgrading to SP2.

I appologise if this caused any issues. May I just re-iterate they where never my idea, they're not hosted on my server, and I never suggested they be allowed in signiatures ! lol... It wasn't me !
