Quote from Jamexing :One of the biggest problems with rallycross in LFS is the sheer lack of ANY car truely suited to rallycrossing. Wouldn't be so painfully slow and boring if one has a 350hp RB4 that weighs the same as it currently does but with way better suspesnsion (longer travel and progressive springs + 4 way dampers). With just a small amount of downforce to keep the car on the ground and reasonably stable, it's anything but a slowcoach.

A RallyX version of the XFG and RB4 should be added, Super 1600 (XF1600?) and a Grp.B Monster (Maybe give it slicks too to also be our much wanted RBR?)

then its pretty simple why rallycross is smaller compared to tarmac racing, we dont got so many layouts, and...

The big thing it that we dont got any racesystem to organize events. Most rallyx events today is "50 laps on FE RallyX with RB4". And thats not the original idea with rallyx. It should be 3-5 laps intense race, no need to save tyres or worry about fuel. You race in 3 qualification rounds and then the fastest drives Finals. No pitstop.

We drove with that system in RallyXchampionships a year ago, it worked well, but coz we had to do everything manually, it took quite much time and effort.

But RallyX is a very nice feature in LFS, it has very good potential

A joker lap is common in REAL rallyX and means that you have to go a different way than the original track layout one time/ race. That’s to generate exiting and tactical races. The race isn’t over just because someone takes the start. The drivers behind could choose to take the joker lap early or late and try to close the gap and maybe pass because of the joker lap. This often makes the fastest/most tactical guy around the track to win, instead of having a bad start and get blocked behind the leader.

Gravel biased track:
As things are as present, the hybrid tyre is the dominate one on all rallycross tracks. It has much better grip on the tarmac than the knobbly and coz of that it’s outstanding. A track with mostly gravel would generate that more drivers choose the knobbly tyre, which can go very fast on the gravel parts.

Just my thoughts about the situation, but be patient guys

Come on, last night was a blast man
