why cant i change the brake clippers colors have tried to download other but they dont work :S any ideas?

Some cars have different calipers, so you may have replaced the calipers for a different car, which you don't drive.

And make sure you don't paint them white / silver / some other light colour. They use Vertex Colouring which is set to red, so they'll pretty much always have a reddish tint to them anyway.
