DFP - Broke, Help use it with LFS
Hi,

Come to use my DFP today and the light which shows power aint comming on. Plugged in and everything, checked connections but no LED to say there is power to it. Cant use it for LFS, just wondering if anyone has any solutions, and only had it for just over a month.

Im very disapointed, to say i spent £88 and now i cant use it, and i go away on holiday thursday morning :S

cheers,
Turn on the light switched, maybe it is a switched outlet???

The connector on the back can be a pain to get in there right because of the angle. Other than that, you must have a broken wire in the power cord. Can you check with a volt meter to see if you are getting power out of it (do not use your tongue). If it ain't that, then see about returning it for a replacement.
Cheers, dont undertand your first bit thou. Rang logitech, they said "We will have to ring you back regarding this matter".

Ringing them tomo to give them a peice of my mind,

Cheers,
He's saying that the power outlet you have it plugged into might require a lightswitch to be turned on before it has power. If you have a multi-meter, definitely check to make sure you're getting power to the connector.
wow wow. Nothing like that here, live in UK and never heard of that before. Dont require anything like that as PC runs from same plug, but ringing logitech tomo to get it sorted, cant live without LFS,

@marsden

I had similar problem some time ago, IIRC running this fixed the problem

Press winkey+r (or start->run) and paste this to the box

%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe "c:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\WMDrivers\WMWizard.dll",WMWizardMain

I think, if you have non-english windows, you need to change the path
