lol, the same thing is happening to my team (team omni). i wish there was a way for the LFS producers to ban the impersonators somehow . im gettin really pissed off at them :chairs:

Buying a license wont stop impersonators. They keep doing it, today they were on my name, and another member. I am getting tired of this.

The main idea here is not letting them get into your heads, I've been a FPS gamer before I came about LFS and honestly, if they see it doesn't bother you, it will stop. I'm sure the people who know you will be able to pick out the impersonators and ban them or what-not, just don't let it get to you, as hard as that is, stick it out and let the public know what's going on. (Warn on your site what's going on), I'm sure if someone has a problem with your attitude they will go to your site and tell you how they feel, then you explain.

Control-shift shows licence name in S2.

The point is, I still have plenty of demo drifters on my team. So those on demo will continue to impersonate..

Plus, no one seems to have anything to say on our forums..

Well, everybody else in this thread was trying to talk sense into you.

You cant do anything about this in the demo. Either you and your teammates get S2, or you have to live with it. Sad, but true.

LOL, nah... it was just that DUB team guy again. Im not sure where he get's the spamming part from, after Nismo (he said he was the leader) sent me a pm which said he had no problem at all with my comments. What's really funny is he allowed the guy to start a thread about me and another guy (and another one about me after that one was closed, and another about a diffrent lfs'er) before I had ever joined the forum, and then banned me for responding! It was the only reason I had joined their forum. (which I told Nismo also)

Oh well, I was able to say what I wanted to say.

Our forum is the only one I spam.


But back on topic, honestly the only way to prevent people using your name is to buy a license (as you have already been told). There is no way to punish these people, it's just part of the demo world. In s2 you have way's to see people's registered names, so it would be pointless to steal someone else's name.
