I'm looking for a carbon fiber hood texture for FXO in 1024 size. I've searched and I can't find it. thanks in advance.

Skinning tip:

The FXO bonnet is mapped in two parts. This means that any consistent texture like carbon fibre will be messed up by having a line going through it right across the width of the bonnet. Due to the curvature of the nose of the car, it is not really possible to create a good-looking result when trying to match up both parts of the bonnet because the two CF textures won't meet up cleanly at any point.

This doesn't mean that you shouldn't try, but it's a bit of a challenge really, and if you like quality results you may not be satisfied with the outcome.

seems like a bit much for me. unless there is a 1024 FXO skin that has nothing on the hood that I can borrow.

Use the default skin, but I don't see how that will help you.

The MSz skin kits from Bunta and Andylec have a layer which is just the hood. Download the FXO kit and cover the hood with carbon fiber.

If 2048 is too big for you, just size it down to 1024.
