Question about sizing pls help
I wanted to upload my skin to lfsworld but my skin is 512 x 512 and needs to be 1024 x 1024 i am new to this and i am using Paint shop pro any help comeone can give me . TY
Well if you have made a skin at 512x512, you really don't have any 'good' options for uploading that design to LFSW because yes it only accepts 1024x1024. If you try to resize the image/skin from 512 to 1024, it will look blurry, and you cannot do any resampling to a larger size, you will lose quality. If you did everything in vector, you wouldn't have a problem, but I am betting you are new to all this and new to Paint Shop Pro.

I wouldn't advise resizing the 512 skin to 1024, it will just look crappier. You should just take a 1024x1024 default skin that is included with the LFS CMX Viewer, and paint on that. Then once you are done, you can upload that to LFSW just fine.
Even better, skin at 2048 and downsize to 1024 for LFSW; and use the 2048 in game yourself

But yes, Tweak is right, upsizing to 1024 will look pants.

I remember the first time I made a skin for LFS, it was 512, and it looked so bad in game I was angry at myself for my oversight. haha. How did we survive back in the SCGT days with 256x256 textures!?

If you download the CMX Viewer (a very handy tool for skin makers) you should find default skins at 1024 x 1024 pixels which you can use as a template or you could try some skin kits instead.

I'd recommend those kits. The wireframe is especially handy in aligning graphics across multiple areas on the car, and the black mask significatly reduces the filesize of your finished skin. Plus they're 2048x2048, nice and big.
