Hello, Well a friend of mine bought an MP4 from another friend, the MP4 has 1Gb of capacity but when my mate plug it to his PC, the MP4 only has 500mb free, And theres no file inside!!!, Should He format it? or he has been swindled?

If on the player is not mentioned the size he might be ripped unfortunatelly:-(.

500 would shows that it should be 512MB version.
Mine 2048(2GB) shows free only 1984 after the format.

I came only to one things and there are some hidden files?Check in windows if he has turned on to show the hidden files in folders.

Hey Hi, I fixed his problem , I scanned the MP4 with an antivirus and it scanned files that were not shown, also the files were not hidden files... The files I founded were .CHK (Scandisk files) So I deleted them and It works (994mb Free) perfect now
