Higher res brakedisc - Not slotted/drilled
As I didn't like all the brakedisc you could find here, because they are nearly all drilled or slotted, I wanted to post my own selfmade brakedisc here.

Maybe someone will like it

I'd also like a closer pic. Since the brake discs don't rotate, having slots or holes looks really bad at speed. :P I'd like some higher res ones without the drilled holes and slots.

Nice, gets rid of these jagged edges
I changed the gold ones that are available somewhere. Just gave it a bit of radial blur and it looks better when moving, just not so when stationary.

Edit: Oops, just re-read the thread title and you didn't want drilled ones. Still, for those that want them...

That looks good BUT if you take a picture of a car irl and you have quick enough shutter speeds (or whatever i dont really know) and the wheels are stationary then surely the discs would be too. So rules out screen shots but would look good for videos.

Yeah it is a shame the discs don't spin with the wheels (future thing to see I hope) but still, it looks good when on the move, if you're specifically looking for them.

OT: Pick of Destiny rules.
All Eric has to do is attach them to the wheels, thats all it takes. For me, to do that in 3ds max, to do all the cars it would take me no joke about 10 minutes.

I still dont see why it hasn't been done yet.

I doubt it, it has been like this ever since the beginning, I'm surprised it wasn't fixed when S2 alpha was released to be honest, this isn't something that should cause a problem. The tire is attached to the wheel's rotation, so I dont find any problem with attaching another peice to the rotation, plus it wouldn't be any problem because the caliper and the disc already turn left and right with the wheels so.. wheres the hardship?!?
Remember that the wheels are only 3D models in the CMX viewer, but created in real time in LFS. Therefore Eric can't just connect them, as there is nothing to connect them to.

However, Scawen could probably make the wheel renderer system also do the brake disc, or a solution in between (i.e. make the polygon for the brake disc rotate at it's wheels wheelspeed.
Well, if (more like.. when) we get brake disc fading then the system would surely work similarly to the way the tires do, so then it should be possible.

I take that back then, Eric doesn't do any of that stuff, Scawen does.. hmm..

Thats the problem, Scawen does all this stuff, what exactly is Eric doing all this time I wonder, surely he has an actual job?
