hi me and a few mate have been racing our ai against each other online now what i need to know is there a mod or a simple way to get them to go pits and if there isn't would some one please try and make a mod the does such a thing coz it's kinda annoying when we are racing and one of the ai's run out of fuel about 30 metres from the finish line or run out right on a corner and if this could be pre vented it would be awesome and i know adding more fuel would be the solution but really u add more fuel and it means more weight i run 17% fuel in the tank so i got plenty but say for long races pitting would be good for times when they crash or when there tyre's are worn out

so yeah any help would be great also i'm looking to get s2 in a few weeks so if it's possible to make it so it's s2 compatible would be great

Sorry but this is not possible. Live For Speed is still in a "alpha" stage. This means that the game is still in progress, that includes car sounds, engines, interiors, A.I, tracks and many more things. Most of them are little niggly things and are almost done in some aspect, but the A.I still remains to be improved, it has been like this since S1 i believe. Im afraid your gonna have to wait until S3 or at least when S2 has been finalised.

You can't make AI pit whilst racing. They are controlled by LFS internally and we cannot affect their movements. We have to wait for the Devs to make the AI pit or allow control messages be sent to them.

If you or your mate is the admin of the server - you can issue chat commands to remove AI that ever block the track:

/pitlane (name)
/spec (name)

eg: /pit AI_1

To see how the AI have no concept of the pit lane, when you have loads of AI on the track try typing the command:

/pit_all

They can't fight their way out of a paper-bag. ROFL.
