Gee Whizzzz... I'm Slow
Yeah, so...

All winter in Breckenridge. Learned a lot. Cool.

Home in Santa Fe. TSW don't go with new computer, yet. Got Momo for cheap while saving to upgrade TSW to USB.

Force Feedback. Telling me crazy things about the car. Can't catch a slide. Can't drive my usual 0.10s consistancy at Blackwood even.

Wouldn't plague you fine racers with my shannanagins just yet. Don't have internet at the house anyway. Will soon. Love to get on the track with all of you...

If I can figure out how to safely drive this thing. Back to a single car, eh? Laps and laps.

Hi!

Love Ya.
I have no idea what you just said. Could you please put it together in something more understandable?
Hmmm...something familiar with this. Did you use have some kind of long/skateboard avatar?

Has atomant been posting again

If your wheel is telling you crazy things it mean either (guessing here) you havent used ffb before, which takes a while to get used to then is really helpful when you get tuned into it, or you have your wheel set up wrong. There are enough links and tips how to set up a wheel around, have a search and see what you find.

See you on track.
Slartibartfast:

You can turn the force feedback off. Just turn the virtual spring (I cant remember if logitech calls it that, or if it just says spring rate). Then it will act like your TSW (sorta, it will just want to center). Then you can turn off FF in the game.

And yes, the answer is laps laps laps. Also, setups...download some setups, drive them and learn how to tweak them for you. No setup is perfect for any 2 people...and none of the default setups are good at all, really.

Practice practice practice, thats all you can do.

"You're" or "You are." I'm not generally a grammar nazi, but if you're going to be rude and correct someone's grammar, you could at least get your single sentence correct.

By the way, I had no problem understanding what he said. A little fragmented, but easily understandable.
Welcome back if.. thats what you mean? I guess.. I have no clue what he's rambling about to be honest, I think its just he is amazed about the philosophy "If you don't use it, you lose it."
Ha, that's funny. I think he's getting on about how crappy force feedback wheels are, in comparison to his uber precision TSW wheel. Welcome back Slarty.
I lol'd at his first post.

Is this what happened to your Forum Moderator status XCNuse??? You didn't use it enough so now its gone...

I just posted here cause it's in the off topic threads and sometimes anything goes in these ones..... What happened XCnuse - I never even got around to congratulating your new status.. and now its gone... Easy come... easy go?? What?
His status appears fine to me....
There was a programming mix up, its all good now.

(P.S. All us mods (and a dev) are blaming it on Bob, so .. blame him if you post after him )
Mods can ban other mods, you know.

/me races to ban button

Bingo! Been since Novemeber or so that I've raced online. Got a new puter. Love it.

Did an extensive search on setting up Momo. Didn't like any of it. Been racing real kart lately. Steering feels different.

Love the rumble on the curbs and the kickback when locking the BF1. Keeping FF for now. Getting better.

BTW Overall Force = 100%, Spring = 50%, Damping = 90%, Self Centering = Off, LFS Controller Menu Strength = 75% (Or whatever those settings are called.)

Love the looky-lefty-righty and F9-F12 buttons on wheel. Now have more plans for TSW.

Love LFS.

Internet next week.
