So... does anyone else remember Ludwig? Some people thought he was legitimately insane; I always thought he was just riling people up.

Is he still around, or did they finally commit him?

LMAO i saw the thread with LUDWIG in the title and thought it was about erik's hamster!!!!!!!

And I thought this was about van Beethoven. You know, we used to call him just Ludwig among friends. Anyway he got deaf after playing LFS too loud with headphones and finally got sick and died when he ran out of unlocks.

I was around RSC shortly after the original LFS demo was released but before S1, and I can't say I remember the name. Granted, I never hung around the RubbishBin forums.

Ludwig was quite active on the Racing Legends/West Racing Forums for quite a while too iirc. Had some good laughs while reading some of his threads.

He was a member on a few simracing forums. He had an... interesting sense of humour, I suppose, and managed to rub a few people up the wrong way and bring out the worst in them.

There were quite a few people who maintained (in all seriousness!) that he didn't have a sense of humour and was actually clinically insane.

Riling someone up just means getting them angry or annoyed, usually by doing or saying deliberately provocative things. It's the same as "winding someone up" or "stirring someone up".

Since we're getting all nostalgic, whatever happened to the West Racing forums? They were hilarious! One day they just disappeared...

Wow, does nobody moderate the West Racing forums?

When the Racing Legends website was first launched there was a link to the forum. It just filled up with speculation, complaints about lack of info, and that sort of thing, so after a while of trying to moderate the forums and compile very detailed updates, they decided to remove the link from the main page to the forum. The forum remained active, you just had to know the url, but I don't know if there's been any moderation since then.

I remember him with a funny avatar.
