please help my sanity
I could have sworn that the race dates state that the qualifying and feature race for round three was meant to be on the aston cadet reversed track, and the sprint race on the normal track. Yet last night im sure we raced the qualifying and feature race on the normal track, and the sprint race on the reversed version??

I quickly had to cobble together a longer race setup for the feature race during the qualifying session, as i could only get my sprint one to last about 15 laps

Why am i losing my sanity?

Provisional Race Calender, for the UF1 ‘May-hem’ Cup.

This calender is subject to change at any point.

Unfortunately both servers were reset at the weekend after the UKCT servers went down....

When they came back up they had been set as Aston Cadet in Division 1 and Cadet Reverse for Division 2 and they just stuck like that i guess...

The last thing we do before starting a qualy event is to confirm with the schedule that its all correct...

ad Division 1 race did not take place or the qualy session, this was not checked.

An oversight perhaps, but also was this not questioned by you at the time??

before qualy started??

Regards,

Dru.
about half way through qualifying i saw a couple of people messaging each other asking if the feature race was 'still on the normal track' the reply was 'yes' and the reply to that was 'thank god for that'.

I quickly jumped onto the forum (it was in the middle of qualifying) and scanned it, and must have read the round 2 'reverse/normal' bit cos it looked at that point like i had made a mistake, so i just kept stchum about it thinking i was being a fool.

At the end of qualifying i remarked to the others that i had thought the race was on the other config and had had to cobble up a set quickly, and people just smiled or lol'd which sort of concreted it in my mind that i had buggered it up.

However just now i was looking at the configs for round 4 and realised that i HAD been right.

Not Mikey, nor UKCT..Dan noticed it, when they came to us to watch Sprint race...
and personally i think noone regret that it has happened.
i agree, it didnt really affect me at all, but it did make me think i was going slowly mad!

the only way to go mad in this cup is to stuck bihind slower racers for laps and can't overtake them... maybe moo.Danny can tell you about it

well, UKCT Dan s just the provider for the servers so it's not his job to notice that, nor Mike's as he is not a Division 2 Marshall...

However, this is a team error and on behalf of the team i can only apolgise for what have happened.....

I will now resolve it with a quick flight to Germany and track Butz down and make him pay for his sins......
Hehe, that was a good race at the end of Race 1 TFalke. And the being stuck behind slower drivers, god that's annoying (no offence meant to slower drivers here). I had to come from pretty much last at the end of the first lap which wasn't too good. I think I overtook everyone cleanly though. Well, I hope I did.

@Dru - Don't forget your whip!
lol

i didnt mind at all, i was just confused more than anything else, and i did have a bit of a panic when i realised i didnt have a set that could last the distance. Im rubbish at making sets at the best of times, let alone when i have about 3 laps to make and test one in
I just use the fastest setup on Inferno Setupfield. It seemed to do alright for me
Well, I hereby appollogize for this stupid mistake.... Since the last week was pretty much f***ing me off and many bad things happened I was happy to get a bit of relaxation racing with you guys... and f***ed it all up again by having my head somewhere else. This won't happen anymore, promised!
